I know it’s kind of late for Christmas Party appetizers…I guess I’m a little late in the game 🙂 However, it’s a really great appetizer for any season – New Year’s party anyone?
When I was growing up, my mom made this recipe for parties and I loved them. They were always gone very quickly and I always get compliments on them and requests for more everywhere I bring them.
The great thing about these little pinwheels is they’re super easy to make. The only downside is they’re super addicting…I could seriously eat an entire plate of these things!
Christmas Party Pinwheels
(slightly adapted from Taste of Home)
2 packages (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1/2 package (.5 ounces) ranch salad dressing mix (this is a dry packet)
1/2 cup red pepper, minced
1/2 cup celery, minced
1/4 cup green onions
3-4 10″ flour tortillas
- Combine softened cream cheese and ranch dressing mix.
- Add in minced red pepper, celery and green onions and stir til combined.
- Spread very thickly on each tortilla and roll up. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours or until mixture is firm.
- Cut into 1/2 inches slices and serve!
